My boyfriend and I were in the area visiting family for Thanksgiving, and since Welch Village was one of the only Ski/Snowboard resorts in the area open during the week we decided to check it out. 

We bought tickets for the day online for just $33. Thought it was a great deal compared to some of the other resorts in the area. 

It had just snowed the night before so the runs were in great condition. We went on a Monday afternoon, and we basically had the entire place to ourselves. There were only a few other people out. It was great! No lift lines, and plenty of room :o)

Welch has a variety of terrain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. It is also a great place to learn to ski or snowboard. There were several young kids and adults alike learning while we were there.

The staff is really friendly, even the ones that were there and not working. The lifties are also very helpful in positioning the chairs. 

I would definitely recommend going to Welch Village to check it out. We had a great time, and are hoping to make it back a couple of more times before we go home.
